Project Title: Reducing the HIV/AIDS burden in Tajikistan

The round 4 grant of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) on “Reduction of the HIV/AIDS burden in Tajikistan” is designed to boost further the national capacities in combating HIV/AIDS epidemic in the country. The HIV/AIDS component plans for the provision of suitable care for people living with HIV/AIDS. In additions it concentrates at raising awareness of targeted and general population on HIV/AIDS.

Project Title: Support to National AIDS response to scale up HIV/AIDS prevention and care services in Tajikistan

The Round 6 Grant’s focus is to establish enabling environment and to develop the capacity of non-government organizations, public health sector, as well as communities, who will focus their activities towards the scaling up access to HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, care and support for the vulnerable groups and general population.

Corporate practice area is HIV/AIDs. Responsible implementer is UNDP Project Implementation Unit that was specially established for implementation of GFATM grants. Saleban Omar Saleban is the manager of this PIU.
